Cuffed = (Age/4)+4 Uncuffed = (Age/4)+3.5

Oral Length = (Age/2)+12

Drugs

Keeping it simple, drugs for intubating critically ill child:

1micro/kg Fentanil
1-2mg/kg Ketamine
1mg/kg Rocuronium

In other words, do the same as you would do for adults with these drugs!

Emergency Drugs

1micro/kg Adrenaline for hypotension
10micro/kg Adrenaline for cardiac arrest
600micro/kg Atropine for bradycardia
10ml/kg fluid bolus
